St. Louis Area University Promotes Entrepreneurship in Their Classrooms and Community

The John W. Hammond Institute for Free Enterprise at Lindenwood University has long embraced the entrepreneurial spirit by hosting a variety of events to promote entrepreneurship throughout their community. Next month, ELI founder Gary Schoeniger will be addressing the need for entrepreneurial thinking. Learn more about this event and how else the Hammond Institute is furthering the discussion of innovation and entrepreneurship here.

Who Owns the Ice House? co-author, Clifton Taulbert recently spoke to students and community members in St. Charles about his own entrepreneurial journey and how it has empowered him to persevere against discrimination and hardship.

"Jeff Jones, Summit County's economic development director, is a fan of homegrown businesses. He said they help create stable jobs over time, and the businesses that emerge tend to better reflect and serve the community." To accomplish this, Jones is offering the Ice House Entrepreneurship Program to residents of Summit County, Utah.
