Uncle Cleve Still Mentoring Beyond My Day...

by Clifton Taulbert

As a young boy growing up in the deeply segregated Mississippi Delta, I never dreamed that my Great Uncle Cleve's impact upon my life would become a book that is currently touching lives in 31 countries. Uncle Cleve mentored me to ‘always dream’ even at the time when cotton was still king. Due to his mentoring decades ago, I am a TIME Magazine recognized emerging entrepreneur today.

I was his wing man as we drove the dirt and gravel roads of the Delta delivering Ice. When I became thirteen, I was left in charge of the Ice-House and the scores of customers coming in and out. He had taught me how to successfully cut the 300-pound blocks of Ice and most importantly ...how to treat his customers which mirrored our small cotton community. For a period of time, he was the only Ice-House in town, and he provided Ice to the Black community, the White community, the Jewish and Italian communities. The two of us served them all.

Have you learned the lessons of Uncle Cleve, Clifton Taulbert, and Gary Schoeniger? Help us reach others with this powerful message by leaving us a rating and review on Amazon or wherever you get your books! "Much more than a book on entrepreneurship. It is a book about how the mindset and actions of the good & reliable stands out from the average. It is a series of stories that reflect the good old values of how one carries oneself in life...This one's a classic."
