Hi there,

Looking for an engaging online learning experience? How about a way to model online teaching in the new normal of virtual learning? Check out our upcoming Fall training event!

This four-week online Entrepreneurial Mindset Facilitator Certification Training prepares participants to instill an entrepreneurial mindset in their classroom, organizations, and communities. As part of this process, you will develop a deeper understanding of the eight life lessons outlined in the book Who Owns the Ice House? and its companion programs. Simultaneously, you will learn about our research into the entrepreneurial mindset as a cognitive framework.

Led by ELI Founder Gary Schoeniger and President Rob Herndon we will get together to discuss these concepts further as well as the best methods for the facilitation of these concepts through live weekly Zoom sessions.

In addition to the live sessions, you will engage in a mix of:

  • recorded presentations
  • small group and individual activities
  • live and forum discussions
  • experiential, problem-based learning as part of the Ice House Programs

By working through the four editions of the Ice House Entrepreneurship Programs and related content, you will understand how to build your own entrepreneurial mindset, and also how to develop these behaviors and skills in others.

See what others are saying about this engaging online program:

"Exquisite and unique. The skills and learning from this program is applicable in all phases of economy. This is a necessary training for all."

Gary’s Top Ten Resources for Understanding the Entrepreneurial Mindset

ELI's founder Gary Schoeniger shares his "Top Ten" resources that lead to our understanding of the entrepreneurial mindset. See the foundational psychological research that we have used to unpack and distill the behaviors and beliefs of entrepreneurs into a replicable and accessible framework.

"My interest in entrepreneurship comes from a behavioral perspective. I see the entrepreneurial mindset as a way of thinking that optimizes engagement in ways that extend beyond those who endeavor to start and grow new businesses. My goal is to understand the controllable cognitive, motivational, and situational factors that give rise to the development of entrepreneurial attitudes, behaviors, and skills. I believe that if we can understand these underlying causes, we can create more robust, equitable, and resilient societies.

With all of that in mind, here are some of the foundational resources, books, papers, and thinkers that I have learned from in my journey to deconstruct the entrepreneurial mindset."
