The ELI team is excited to announce our 3rd public training of 2019. We hope you will join us for the 3-day event that aims to foster the essential 21st century skills associated with entrepreneurial behavior in yourself, your students, and your community.

Hosted by Northampton Community College's Follett Family Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, this training will provide attendees the opportunity to learn about the core pillars of an entrepreneurial mindset, as well as key strategies for encouraging the attitudes and behaviors required to thrive in today's rapidly changing world. 

The Ice House Entrepreneurship Programs are designed for students of all ages, in both traditional and non-traditional learning environments, and are being used across the world to inspire and engage communities with the entrepreneurial process. Anyone interested in promoting entrepreneurial activity in organizations, classrooms, or communities is encouraged to attend.

Camp Girl Boss Bringing Entrepreneurship to Boone, NC

This summer in Boone, NC, enterprising girls age 11 through 13 will be exposed to the Ice House Entrepreneurship Program and take a big leap forward into real-world entrepreneurship by attending Camp Girl Boss, July 15-19, at Watauga High School. Campers will learn the fundamentals of entrepreneurship and business through this awesome programming opportunity!

ELI Attends American Library Association Annual Conference

ELI President Rob Herndon attended the American Library Association (ALA) Conference in Washington D.C. on June 22nd and 23rd at the invitation of Duncan Smith. Duncan, who is one of the founders of NovelList, is also an Ice House Facilitator and Chief of Strategy for Public Libraries for EBSCO. ALA is the oldest and largest library association in the world. With a mission of enhancing learning and ensuring access to information to all, they are at the forefront of helping librarians transform libraries to keep pace with the needs of their constituents.
