New Podcast Episode - How Adversity Became An Advantage With Ted Moore

It’s natural to face many challenges when journeying on a new path. The question is, how do we turn adversity to an advantage? In our first episode of 2022, Theodore Moore joins us to discuss the founding of Elohim Cleaning Contractors. California Entrepreneurship Educator Conference 2022

Hosted by San Diego State University's Lavin Center for Entrepreneurship, the California Entrepreneurship Educator Conference (CEEC) brings together an international network of thought-leaders and educators who advance the discipline of entrepreneurship research and pedagogy. For 2022, the CEEC conference format is being disrupted to provide educators globally with “more” insight and content depth in three specific areas: Entrepreneurship and Ethics, Entrepreneurship and the Disadvantaged, and Entrepreneurial Mindset. The focus on just three core areas with a renowned panel of experts, will provide attendees with conference sessions that have unparalleled depth, context, and usable content to be shared with all attendees. The CEEC will be a one day, virtual conference that is free with online registration.

Many cities have worked to attract entrepreneurs over the past decade. Albuquerque, New Mexico, is among them—but in an innovative twist, the fast-growing Southwestern city also worked to foster an entrepreneurial mindset from the inside out. 

City leaders aren’t looking for municipal employees to start their own businesses. Instead, they’re following the Entrepreneurial Learning Initiative’s definition of entrepreneurship as the self-director pursuit of opportunities to create value for others.
