“How Leaders Fake Psychological Safety”

Creating psychological safety, vital for fostering an entrepreneurial mindset, is a delicate balance for leaders. Striving for open communication, embracing failure as a learning opportunity, and valuing honest feedback are all essential components. 

However, there's often an unconscious tension between encouraging authenticity and maintaining a comfortable equilibrium. Many leaders inadvertently adopt performative psychological safety, hindering their teams. Data indicates that only a quarter of leaders possess the necessary skills for genuine psychological safety.
