FACILITATOR TRAINING UPDATES
Early Bird Discount Ending Soon for July, and October 2023 Dates Announced

Hi there,

Looking to develop your skills with an entrepreneurial mindset? Join us this July or October for our four-week online Entrepreneurial Mindset Facilitator Certification Training!

With over 100 events held worldwide and over 3,500 facilitators trained, our certification provides a foundational understanding of the mindset and methods of everyday entrepreneurs using our Ice House Entrepreneurship Programs as a framework. By honing your creativity, critical thinking, cooperation, and empathy skills, this training experience exposes the hidden mechanisms that help or inhibit anyone from reaching their full potential.

But what is an Entrepreneurial Mindset Facilitator? Facilitators do not need to be subject matter experts in entrepreneurship. Their role is to facilitate learning by supporting, guiding, and monitoring the experiential learning process. Rather than providing specific directives, the facilitator encourages participants to identify and solve problems, find and apply new knowledge, take action, and cope with the uncertainty and challenges that they confront.

Upon completion of the certification training, you'll receive an Entrepreneurial Mindset Facilitator Certificate & Badge, qualifying you to facilitate any of the Ice House Entrepreneurship Programs.

Don't miss this opportunity to develop the skills and knowledge necessary to inspire and engage others with an entrepreneurial mindset. Learn more at the button below:

Why A Little Mental Turbulence Can Be a Good Thing for Early-Stage Startups

After welcoming each new cohort of idea-driven participants to Entrepreneurial Mindset Training, facilitator Joel Barrett issues a warning: Turbulence Ahead.

Barrett is a business development consultant with the Missouri Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. He and his colleagues use the Ice House model to redefine entrepreneurship as the self-directed pursuit of opportunities to create value for others by discovering and solving problems—and he has firsthand experience with the mental disorientation this shift can bring about.

“The Entrepreneurial Mindset Training is aptly named because it really did challenge how I think about everything,” Barrett said, reflecting on his own introduction to the Ice House model four years ago. “It has changed my approach to problem solving instead of solution building, which is so contrary to how most entrepreneurship is taught.”

"Who Owns the Ice House?" Is Available in Multiple Formats!

Learn the eight life lessons of Uncle Cleve, Clifton Taulbert, and Gary Schoeniger in the format that is best for you! "Much more than a book on entrepreneurship. It is a book about how the mindset and actions of the good & reliable stands out from the average. It is a series of stories that reflect the good old values of how one carries oneself in life...This one's a classic."
